Last Opportunity to Sign up: Steubenville Atlanta – High School Youth Conference
High school teens are invited to join us for Steubenville Atlanta, taking place July 10–12. This powerful weekend conference is an opportunity for teens to grow in their faith through dynamic talks, prayer, worship, fellowship, and the Sacraments. The cost is $250 per teen, and spots are limited. Families are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

As our nation approaches the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, our parish will celebrate in ways that honor both our country’s founding ideals and the rich diversity of our parish family. We will have special activities and displays in the church and Narthex on Sundays and occasionally throughout the week. We invite all parishioners to participate and support these events. Taizé: A Pilgrimage of Trust
July 9, 2026 | 7:30 PM | Tara Theatre, Atlanta

Join filmmaker Kathy Kuczka for a special screening of Taizé: A Pilgrimage of Trust, a feature-length documentary exploring the renowned ecumenical monastic community of Taizé, France. Through the experiences of young pilgrims, the film highlights Taizé's enduring message of peace, reconciliation, simplicity, and hope in a divided world. Saturday, August 1, 2026 | After the Vigil Mass | Gym

We invite all parishioners to prepare and share a traditional dish that reflects their country and culture. If you are willing to participate, please sign up to bring a dish that serves approximately 20 people. Please register by July 24 to help us plan the event layout and food selections. Please provide your name, country of origin, and the name of the dish you plan to bring. Members of the planning committee will be in the Narthex July 4-5 to answer questions. We will soon begin to presell tickets to those who only wish to attend and enjoy the international cuisine.

Rosary Making in Honor of Beatification of Archbishop Fulton Sheen

The beatification of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen is officially scheduled for September 24, 2026, at The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis, Missouri. In celebration of this historic occasion, join us as we make World Mission Rosaries to be distributed to attendees at the Beatification Mass through the Pontifical Mission Societies. Archbishop Sheen promoted the World Mission Rosary as a way to unite the faithful in prayer for the people, missionaries, and needs of every continent.


Our parish hopes to make at least 500 rosaries for this special event. Completed rosaries will be shipped to Peoria, Illinois, for distribution at the beatification celebration. Everyone is welcome to make rosaries, and no experience is necessary! All materials and instruction will be provided.

Quo Vadis — Where are you going?

Quo Vadis is a discernment retreat for high school men sponsored by the Office of Vocations and put on by our seminarians. It will take place from 6 PM on Sunday, July 19, through 12 PM on Wednesday, July 22, at Camp Gideon in Acworth. The retreat is open to rising 10th graders through recently graduated seniors. Grow With Me – Strengthening Core Issues

A marriage enrichment program is being offered at Transfiguration Catholic Church in conjunction with Worldwide Marriage Encounter. It will be held on August 22 from 12 PM to 4:30 PM. This program is designed to help you solidify some core issues in your relationship. These will include communication, finances and intimacy. These are new topics for this third Grow With Me event! All engaged and married couples are welcome! You don’t have to have attended a Marriage Encounter weekend to participate and,  we have limited babysitting! Life-Giving Wounds

Life-Giving Wounds is offering three separate one-day retreats during the 2026 calendar year for young adults and adults with divorced or separated parents. Each retreat gives participants a greater understanding of the wound of divorce and the ways it affects their lives, offers advice about the difficulties concerning love and trust of others, and explains how the Catholic faith, spiritual practices and the sacraments are essential to self-knowledge and healing.
