What is Stephen Ministry?
Our parish Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide confidential one-to-one Christian care to
individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives, such as:
- Divorce or Separation
- Troubling medical diagnosis
- Death of loved one
- Job Crisis
- Birth of child
- Relocation
- Spiritual crisis
- …and many other concerns

A Stephen Minister...
Meets with Care Receiver on a regular basis, for up to an hour each visit. Generally,
visits are once per week, or as convenience dictates.
- Listens without judgment.
- Cares, supports, encourages, and prays.
- Maintains confidentiality
There is no fee associated with our ministry.
