Georgia’s Revolutionary Voice: 
A Conversation with Button Gwinnett

As the nation approaches the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, we will bring history to life.  Gwinnett Historical Society President and Gwinnett Community Services Deputy Director Jason West will portray Button Gwinnett, one of Georgia’s three signers of the Declaration of Independence, by sharing stories, perspectives, and leadership lessons drawn from the Revolutionary era and the founding of American self-governance. Through character-driven storytelling and audience interaction, participants will explore themes of civic responsibility, public service, and the enduring role of local leadership in democracy.
