New FAITH FORMATION FAMILIES
What you can expect
Welcome to our Faith Formation program! We are delighted to be on this journey with you and your family! Since your child/teen did not attend Faith Formation at St. Lawrence this past year, you may have a lot of questions, especially if they have not yet been Baptized, received First Holy Communion, or Confirmation.
To find out what path your child will be on this year and in the coming years, please click on the following document for grade-specific paths. Look at the grade your child will be in come August, read the information, and then feel free to reach out with any questions!
Parent Formation Requirement
The change for the parent/guardian, is that one must come to a parent session every week. All Parents, All Grades, Every Year. This is to fulfill Archbishop Gregory's change in approach to faith formation for our youth and their families. He knows parent involvement is just as important as student involvement for a strong Catholic family. This is a way for your family to grow in community with the parish and deepen your own faith so you can effectively pass your faith on to your children.
