ST. LAWRENCE CATHOLIC CHURCH in LAWRENCEVILLE, GEORGIA.

At St. Lawrence Church Preschool we offer weekday classes for children ages 2 through 5. Our highly trained staff plans activities that help foster growth in physical, cognitive, social and spiritual development. 01 Our Mission

The mission of St. Lawrence Catholic Preschool is to cultivate genuine, joyous, and trusting relationships so that children can become enthusiastic lifelong learners as well as kind and thoughtful people. We use a developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum in a nurturing, Catholic environment to build on children’s natural curiosity and enthusiasm for learning in order to provide an engaging, fun-filled program that meets the needs of the whole child. Quite simply, we want children to love coming to preschool. 

02 Our Curriculum

Our curriculum provides a wide variety of play-based experiences in language and literacy, math, fine and gross motor and science skills. We have a developmentally appropriate program that is centers-based. Our curriculum focuses on hands on activities that promote growth, exploration and creativity. All of our classes attend a weekly religion lesson in our beautiful Good Shepherd Room. This component of our religion curriculum is scripture and liturgy based and is taught by a dedicated religion teacher. 

03 Our Philosophy

We believe that children are unique and develop at their own pace. Our developmentally appropriate program is designed to build on the child’s learning and experiences at home as well as to expose them to learning in group situations. Through our play-based curriculum, we encourage school readiness and life-long learning.


It may look like play, but we are learning to:

  • respect the rights of others
  • express ourselves creatively
  • develop self-control
  • grow from dependence to independence
  • listen to directions and follow them
  • develop good work habits
  • clean up after work time
  • participate in group activities
  • enjoy using a variety of materials and medium/media

  • develop new interests and extend old ones
  • learn about God’s love for us

What We Offer and How Much It Costs

  • All classes meet from 9:30am to 1:30pm.
  • An annual registration fee of $180 is due at registration and holds your child’s spot. We do offer an Early Bird Discount on our registration fee. You can save $50 by completing your child's registration before April 1, 2024.
  • An annual activity fee of $80 is due with the first month’s tuition.
  • Monthly tuition payments are made in 9 equal payments beginning in August.
